Justice Alliance Standing Together Against Nonsense!

NAPO Union Leader, Ian Lawrence will be joining others in London in opposition to Chris Grayling's TR plans.

Barrister Sam Parham says, "The Criminal Bar will stand together with solicitors, probation officers & others to fight for access to justice for all- join us! Once we've seen off Chris Grayling's nonsense we'll get back to representing our clients or rehabilitating lives. It's vital Chris Grayling sees he's united everyone involved in criminal justice, I wonder what his deputy SimonHughes MP makes of all of this!"

Liberal Democrats Concerned About TR Nonsense!

The campaigner and advisor Harry Fletcher says that more and more Liberal Democrat MPs expressing their concerns, and that he will be seeing three more Members of Parliament next week. He says, "Keep lobbying", as it makes a difference!

As somebody said recently Chris Grayling will be worried because Liberal Democrats are trying to look more like Liberal Democrats and less like Tories.

Minster Chris Grayling never seems to let up on the whole Criminal Justice System. Probation Officers, Prison Officers, Barristers, Solicitors, Prosecutors.

Labour MP's Concerned About TR Nonsense.

Harry Fletcher informed us last month that work was still going on the in House of Commons and that Labour is going to table amendments to OR Bill 1) No selloff unless vote in both Houses 2) No roll out of TR unless Piloted first 3) Probation trusts allowed to tender for work with short term prisoners 4) Domestic Abuse work to stay public.

Labour MP Sadiq Khan said in stinging rebuke of this Government:

"a shocking picture" of how bad things have got in the criminal justice system over the past three years. He said: "David Cameron came to office in 2010 promising a rehabilitation revolution yet today this is in tatters, with the Inspectors confirming this a failure".“The government’s plans to recklessly privatise probation have been shredded", he said. "It’s time that Chris Grayling broke the habit of a lifetime, listened to the experts, and abandoned his dangerous and half-baked probation privatisation before he puts the public’s safety at risk".

Labour MP, Grahame Morris, another angry voice says:

Not A Done Deal, The Justice System Stands Up To Nonsense

Earlier the political and lifestyle journalist Ian Dunt asked, "The probation service is a success story - so why is Grayling privatising it?"

He further commented, "What do you do with a public service which is enjoying considerable success and just won the British Quality Foundation Gold Award for Excellence? The answer, obviously, is to scrap it and open it up to private competition".

The answer, is Nonsense!!!! Barrister Sam Parham says, " I've confidence you have no time for awful Grayling - please don't listen to MoJ nonsense!!!!
And that is why many people will join with the Justice Alliance on Monday 6th January to stand up in protest.
